My love of the floral industry began over a decade ago while working
with my friends Debra and Dejuan Stroud of Dejuan Stroud Inc.
where I was involved in every aspect of event planning and floral design.
After co-ownership of Duffy-Kiely I have been, for four years, the
delighted sole proprietress of Katydid.

Our team of graphic artists, lighting specialists, seamstresses, carpenters,
day of assistants and designers are all accomplished in their areas of
expertise and share my passion for the creation of beautiful environments
and flowers. Also available to you through Katydid is the most fabulous
selection of rental linens, furniture, props, and dining accessories available
on the East coast.

I book my time carefully and place an emphasis on our relationship to
create an event unique to each client. I have chosen wedding gowns with
motherless brides. Matched up ink colors to rose petals. Worked miracles
with budgets. Lent my favorite jewelry to the bride. You will feel that
dedication and warmth from our first consultation to the delivery of the
personal flowers on your wedding day.

Katydid is the house florist for Tiffany & Co. Red Bank, Navesink
Country Club, the Two River Theatre Co., Bonnet Island Estate and
Mallard Island Yacht Club and I am honored to be the personal florist
for many of our state's most beloved celebrities.

        I remember the first time we met at your studio when we talked and talked. And I remember the day that
        you told me that I could plan all I want, but at some point I would have to trust and "jump off the cliff." I think
        I blanched at the thought, but as luck would have it, I found you and jumped willingly and gladly. Everything
